Stella Filante is the latest boutique to grace the upcoming Lower East Side of Manhattan. The upscale women's boutique showcases clothing, shoes, and accessories to women who express femininity in their style. Stella Filante, meaning "shooting star" in Italian, is the creation of Belgian/Moroccan sisters, Leona and Hasna Erziak. Growing up the sisters often gazed into the italian night sky, and wished that one day they could create a brand and own stylish women's clothing stores. As a step forward in the achievement of their dream, Stella Filante is the Italian translation of that lucky shooting star.

Leona and Hasna have drawn upon a great amount of inspiration from Italian romantic motifs in many of the lines that they carry, as well as within the prestigious decor of the retail space. Their inspirations, however, are not defined solely by their Italian and European influences. Over the years, the sisters have nourished their curiosity and sensibilities by living between Europe, Africa, and the United States. Beyond traveling, Leona and Hasna's collective experiences range from styling French celebrities to decorating Riada in Marrakech.

Stella Filante is stocked with designers and brands mainly from abroad; many from Europe, as well as designers inspired by African and Asian embellishment techniques. The designers collectively represent an interesting fashion pallet by offering varied sensibilities. Leona and Hasna are representing designers who prioritize quality in their craft; therefore, the choice for which lines and designers to carry is backed by an uncompromising priority: the best materials and fabrics are employed to every garment in the store.

The sisters' aim is to create a collection of styles for all occasions from formal wear to casual wear, from trendy to sophisticated. Every woman can step out of Stella Filante with an outfit suitable to their occasion. The decor of the store speaks to many aspects of its goal; with chrome silver, gold, black and white furnishings, a contemporary and sleek touch finds its home in a welcoming and organic space primarily composed of restored wood. Both the decor and the designers that the boutique offers mirror the humble feminity of the fashion forward woman.

Stella Filante is already gaining a reputation for its chic designs, its unique and sophisticated ambiance, and its welcoming and inviting character.
