About:

Plum, not referring to the fruit,  but to the word’s  lesser known definition: “a  choice  thing,” stocks  "plum" pieces,  hard-to-find lines and one of a kind accessories, from a mix of established  and up-and-coming designers. Hailing predominantly from New York &  Los   Angeles, and also Denmark, London & Paris, the  boutique feels like an extension of any fashion-forward  gal's walk-in closet, with  designers  like Dallin Chase, Nicholas K, Amanda Uprichard, Grace Sun & Eairth and shoes from designers such as Chie Mihara and Corso Como as well as jewelry by local artisans, many  exclusive to the  Lower East Side. Plum's seasonal trunk  shows and  shopping  fetes are never to be missed, both as a platform for edgy designers and choice sales.  Owner Jackie Atkins, is  a  native New  Yorker and formerly a television  stylist for The Bachelor series, Oxygen's Girls  Behaving Badly and indie film costume designer. She has been working in the industry for over 10 years.
