About Ashley Thompson: Style expert and entrepreneur Ashley Thompson, 29, enjoys a life immersed in the international fashion scene as both a forecasting fashionista as well as the owner of New York City’s well-known shopping hotspot, Owl’s Lab. Some of those sporting her goods include industry icons such as Mary-Kate Olsen, Jessica Alba, Paris Hilton, Mariah Carey, Maggie Gyllenhaal and more. Born and raised in Southern California, Ashley began her career interning for MTV and working retail while studying at UCLA. After graduating from the university, Ashley took on marketing for Los Angeles’ Westside Pavilion shopping centre before relocating to San Francisco to pursue her career as a buyer at Jack’s and Dress.

One of their most successful and fun events was when Owl’s Lab hosted a J Brand Jeans “Perfect Fit” Event where Ashley brought in a J Brand fit specialist to ensure her clients received their perfect pair of jeans that was tailored to their shape. Other events include a Rebecca Minkoff purse event and in honor of Earth Day 2008, owl’s Lab gifted patrons with an organic shopping tote. Today, Owl's Lab is an on-line contemporary boutique that provides you with access to the best designers chosen with a unique perspective. Owl's Lab strives to combine the likes of both East and West Coasters with a bohemian spin. Many of your favorite celebrities have shopped Owl's Lab including Paris Hilton, Hilary Duff, Rachael Ray, Jennifer Esposito and many more. Owl’s Lab has been featured on TLC’s “What Not To Wear” and in publications such as Vogue, Teen Vogue, Women’s Wear Daily, Lucky US Weekly, In Touch Weekly, New York Post, New York Daily News, E! It also holds the title of one of the Top 100 Boutiques in New York City (Lucky Magazine, August 2007) and is listed as one of NYC’s five “Best Bets” boutiques alongside Phillip Lim and other notable women’s fashion destinations.
