2010 MTV Movie Awards Style Lounge at the Carmen Steffens U.S. Flagship Boutique

On Thursday, June 3 and Friday, June 4, 2010, exclusive Brazilian accessories brand Carmen Steffens (www.carmensteffens.com), hosted celebrities and fashion editors at their Los Angeles U.S. flagship boutique in preparation for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. The invitation-only event featured the brand's exclusive handcrafted stilettos, shoes and handbags.
Among those who attended were Dancing with the Stars' professional dancer Karina Smirnoff who went home with a pair of the fabulous Classic Carmen Steffens platform crystal sandals, Maria platform pumps and Silvana sandals; All My Children's Shannon Kane walked out with a stunning pair of the Angela peep-toe crystal snake pumps; and starlet Natasha Henstridge added the Marina anklet sandals and Manuela cross-body bag to her wardrobe. Carmen Steffens launched its 2010 Spring/Summer collection Tuesday, February 23rd at the United States flagship store at Westfield Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks, CA. The collection, consisting of over 1200 style and color combinations, arrived with great anticipation. A VIP reception was held to celebrate the arrival which allowed invited guests, media, and celebrities the first opportunity to experience and shop the new collection.
Four main tenets provide the structure of Carmen Steffens' 2010 Spring/Summer Collection: Fashion; Glamour; Classic and Day to Day.
For FASHION creativity is the word! Exuberant hue and texture combinations; with various colors living amongst each other simultaneously, from metallic to vibrant and from strong contrasts to seamless blends, everything is made possible! Patterns of crocodile, ostrich, alligator, python and lizard co-exist in harmony; providing a range of varying textures. Includes high and low-heel sandals, pumps, peep-toes, and gladiators.
